oh hai.

Last week they announced a Halloween costume contest at my work. Prizes are going to go out for scariest zombie, funniest costume, and most original costume.

We have badges that we wear to work (as shown in the picture) and today my boss sent out an email saying to make sure that our badges are visible at all times during our costume day, for security purposes.

….which led me to the idea of dressing up as my own badge for Halloween.

I can’t go all out and wear a hat and blah blah because it’s against policy. but i can grab some poster board and staple it and leave room for my arms and draw my name and cut a hole for my head so that I look like my badge. I just want you to imagine a big human adult size badge walking around. My name. My face. It’s my badge. And it’s visible at all times. I win the badge game and I better damn well win ‘most original costume’. Because no one is mentally retarded enough to dress up as their own work badge for Halloween.

God I’m really trying to decide if I want to make this happen or not.
